I don't know if they have the same baskests, but it's not just the cone that's different. XBL^2 is a motor topology not a specific motor. Sure do look alike though.

make's me want some.. but i wouldnt want to build a new box.. a/b with w7 would be ncie.. how would they do in same air space.. 12"?

I've heard w7's & saw them metered, but i've never tested um. I have compared XXX's to Eclipse Titaniums, DD9515d's, Strokers, etc, etc... You can get 2-XXX15's for the price of 1-13w7, and still have money left over. Ya, i'd like to see a head-head comparison. [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img]

How big is that box? and whats it tuned to?

i jsut built mine today, looks about 3/4 the size that ( roughly 5 cubes), i went with aero ports though [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

how does yours sound?

heres the new box, looks small compared to yours, maybe i need to go bigger, my IS just mainly for DD though, perhaps it will be ok once i get it tuned lower(34Hz)

The XXX15 sounds amazing, that box is 6cubes tuned to 43hz. Good luck with your install [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img]
