I am considering buying a new/ or new to me 2k rms @ 4ohm amp and am wondering what my options are. Ive been looking at a stetsom V 2k5 E 2ohm version and for the price point i cant really complain. Im just wondering what my options would be, ive also thought about a used Zapco C2K 9.0 but at a grand used well not out of the picture its a bit more than im lookin to spend on a used amp.

I have to finish installing my front stage before i spend any more on the trunk but its prob my next step.

Used? Its a little less than i was looking for but its also rated at 12.6 so at 14.4 its probably close to what im looking for although prob workin pretty hard. I know some of you burp buys swear by SD and Stetsom but how are they for daily?

 

they are daily amps, the reason people say they are burp amps is, well, they are on the loudest cars.

 

Actually they were referring to a thermal issue from prolonged use at high volumes as opposed to extreme use for a few seconds at a time. Now again this was referring to the stetsom and not the SD im just wondering if heat will be an issue. They are just so tiny lol.

Heat is not an issue, they are small because they are built differently than the Asian amps. PM working again.
