3" or 4" midbass

3" or 4" midbass
specifically in a BMW
would you install a better quality 3" driver that's more efficient (92dB/spl 200-14k) than a 4" component that's not as good on paper (400-14.5k and 90dB/spl)?
obviously an adaptor ring would be needed for a 3" driver installed into a 4" OEM
hertz HL 70 vs EM 100
going 3" opens a few more component options

OEM drop in or not - are you indicating that you believe you would be happy with this as the next driver over the sub? I've seen your kicks dude!!
Now as a component midrange used with the midbass under the seats, sure.

Thanks for the comments.
I impulse bought the L3. Should have held out for L3se but it would start to get into focal 100 KRS prices.
The plan is tweeters with a high pass around 5kHz
The L3 would HP around 250hz. The under seat would be band pass 80-200.
And the sub would be low pass at 80. The slope of these cross over points is still unknown.
I will have an amp for the front, centre, under seat and trunk subs.
No outoard EQ processor. Relying on the logic 7 OEM deck to steer everything.
Since this is a BMW, we're using all high level inputs with a LOC, from what I've read, the front is already HP off the amp at 250Hz and the under seat woofers are LP at 200Hz, the amp should take care of everything for the sub LP at 80Hz
