alright so im wondering
can three daul 1 subs be wired at 1.5ohm
with two mono amps straped together at 2ohms

would that play ok. i got two good batterys and a new alt.

 

yes that would work rather well, provided the impedance rise was alright.

 

If its for daily use, you dont have to worry about imp rise

 

it is for daily but ill be bumpin it pretty hard. around 5g's to 3 tf ones.

Hmmm....series the coils and parallel the drivers gives me .66ohms.....

It's the old math, maybe something changed since I was in school.....

I hope the rise comes thru in time, you're starting from a pretty low load....

amps are hifonics bxi2608d. rated at 2600rms at 1 ohm. but i found some test showing that they really put out around 2200 rms.

 

Those amps WILL NOT do anything lower than a 2 ohm load strapped.

 

shitt now is that because there not high end amps or there just not designed to do so.
