Hi. I posted on this forum once before. I was looking at just replacing the front speakers in my 1994 toyota 4runner sr5. They are 4 inch speakers. I am looking to get some in the $200 dollar range. I would like to get some high end ones. What would people reccomend the most.

4" component sets...Alpine type x, Diamond audio, mb quart come to mind with good 4" component sets. Otherwise a good co-axial will work well too, Infinity kappa, Alpine type r, JBL etc...

 

Does anyone have an exact model number they think is best? I would like some with good bass even though I know bass is hard to come by with 4" speakers. Thanks again

Are you open to installing speakers in the door? If so then a 6.75" is in your future instead of a 4" pointed at your ankles. Morel also makes one stellar 4" speaker should you choose to want to keep it stock.

 

are focals and morels in the 200.00 range? Just curious.

Morel 4" speakers are most certainly in this price range and I have them in stock right now. I am but a 1 hour drive away for the person on the original post, time for a road trip I thinks...
