4inch speakers?

I drive a 88 Supra, and i really don't feel like dremmeling out my door to fit any bigger speakers in. (Stupid door design by toyota) There is wiring, windows, door supports. Either way, i have to put stock 4inch speakers in. I want something that sounds really good for mids. I'm running a 12inch MTX sub bass isn't a problem, i don't care much for highs, i like mids more. I would like to buy something locally so i can actually get a stereo in. I'm running a 400$ Poineer deck with 3 sets of preouts, i have an MTX 4004 amp, and an MTX 901 amp? (Not sure thats just the sub amp anyways) all run through a 4gauge wiring kit and a 5 farad cap. I want something that will give me clean music that won't distort when i crank the music.

I had infinity kappa 6 1/2's before, insane highs but it was pretty shallow for mids. For that reason i'm leaning away from infinity, I was looking for something like a 4inch kicker, or a 4inch mtx. Except the only 4inch kicker i can find only does 30rms and 60 wats max at 4ohms. (my amp does 50rms and 100max X4 at 4ohms). I heard over powering your speakers a bit are good, just 40 wats over i think is too much. Also i could get some MTX 4inch speakers as well. I'm just really asking what do you guys recommonded?

I've used Hertz Hi-energy as well as some cheaper boston acoustics 4" speakers, and a hand full of others as well. The Hertz and Bostons were the ones that I used the most. I would say take a look at the bostons

Stay away from infinitys if you like mid-low... i've got them, while they are great above 100hz, below it they fail.
(i have some 4" infinitys)....
