4x6s
what are some good ones out nowdays?
|
I am yet to hear good 4x6. I remember the ones that sounded better than the rest were Alpine, and Arc Audio. Still sounded like poo.

JL has a high end set (separates) available, nobody carries it ($$) so I cant comment on sound
Memphis has a decent one (HF are definitely hot though) good vocals and mid bass impact the Rockford p1572c 4x6 is very good at vocals and quite good at midbass (bit of an edge around 1k to 2k) Memphis msq5 comp set has a 5x7 adaptor so it fits Ford and that is what I would recommend |
ya no more ford for me, name is now decieving ;)
I bought a 93 c 1500 ( chevy truck) |
Infinity makes an alright sounding coaxial. Energy and Clarion make nice sounding plate speakers with a round mid and tweeter side by side that fit 4x6

Polk makes some nice ones.

Don't you feel better for asking now that we have narrowed it down to every product on the market!

If has aftermarket ones in it now, but my dad woulda just bought whatever brand was cheap. Was looking for some that wont rip my face off with tweets current ones are a bit "in your face" I actually kinda faded it to the pass side a bit since the front left was kinda irritating. |
I have compared Alpine, Clarion, Pioneer side by side. Alpine was way better than the other two. Clarion and Pioneer were just horrible. Don't know model number.
