5 channel amp? Earthquake or Hifonics?

Earthquake TD5X or Hifonics ZXi60.4 + 1K or something else ?

For powering 2 pairs of coaxials and a sub, which is best?

also, can't seem to find proper power rating on the TDX5, but seems plenty powerfull, anyone have it's rated specs?

is it 100 x 4 @ 4ohms and sub channel 400 x 1 @ 4 ohms and 600 x 1 @ 2ohms?

out of my price range

I had a Hifonics brutus 1200D for 4 years and had no problems at all with it...great amp running at 1 ohm powering 2 type r 12s for 3-4 hours a day all through the year. Sold it for what i bought it for 4 years later in near perfect condition. That ZX looks like a really nice amp and now it's even cea rated which my 1200 wasn't. The only other 5 channels in that power range is the RF power 1000 5channel (just sold mine), which was a killer amp (my favourite amp to date), and the memphis belle which I've heard is great but never owned. For 300...the Hifonics is hard to beat.

I got my Pdx-5 on eBay for 400$ to my door. It's not that bad really. It's just another 100 over the one u suggested.

dude, the Alpine doesn't push anywhere close to those on the sub channel, plus as stated already its out of budget, plus this thread title is pretty clear

Nothing wrong with the Alpine, just depends on what you want...maybe your car can't handle a 1400 watt amp electrically, or you just don't need it and would prefer the power range of the alpine. My suggestion is based on the fact that I had a very good hifonics amp which I was very impressed with on a daily basis, and that the op is considering an amp from the same brand. Honestly for that price, it would be pretty hard to get anything better..I'm thinking of picking one up!
