Well I just had my 500/1 installed and running my 2 12" rockfords. It worked great for about an hour and then cut out. The amp was still on but the subs were not working. I tried giggling the wires on the amp and it cut back in. So naturally i thought it was just a bad connection. I took all the wires out and put them back in. Same problem. As soon as i put the hex screwdriver in to tighten or loosen any of the wires, the subs start thumping and it would work fine till i got about 100 yards down the road and then the subs would cut out again. Anybody have any idea at all what is happening? lol

Sounds like it might be a cold solder joint inside the amps speaker output terminals, that is a warranty issue...

Ya that is what i may be thinking, cause now when i give the amp a tap or something it will kick in. The power light is always on, so i know that is not the issue.
