Alright, so i now have my deck (pioneer deh-p7700mp) my amp (audiobahn - A8002T) and im possibly buyin a sub/box tomorrow (infinity 1230W in a Q logic ported box). My car is a '93 civic hatchback

So, heres my question, i have my amp bridged to go to my sub alone. I have 6.5" in the doors and 5.25" in the side of the backseats. Is my deck good enough to power these 4 speakers?

actually i have a few more questions...
I have 2 5.25" Blaupunkt RL 4025(i think thats the model number) and they sound alright, but my fronts (6.5")i dont know what they are and the left one isnt even working. how come i see some 6.5" for like under $100 for a new pair, and then ive seen some go for like $300+. how different can 6.5's be?

also, some of those 6.5's looks pretty big, will they fit in the door of my 93 civic hatch? i wanna keep the stock covers on the door to keep it somewhat stealth.

thats all for now, thanx.

how different can 6.5's be? unbelivabley different. too some there may not be that big of a difference, but there will be a difference.

it all depends on the materials that the speakers made of

your deck power should be fine for a DD, i find that deck power is ok, but if you can find an amp, exspecialy for the front, you will notice a big differnce.

"for a dd"? whats a dd?

and also, what are these component sets etc? with crossovers, tweeters, and the like...

i thought when you bought a 6.5 or 6x9 etc, that there is a tweeter in the middle of the speaker?

A component set (usually a two-way set) will have a separate midrange & tweeter. This allows for a more flexible installation to get your sound "stage" higher than where the OEM speaker locations are. These component sets will also usually have better materials in them as well as separate crossovers to direct the proper frequencies to the proper speaker.
In a co-axial speaker the tweeter is sometimes mounted on a pole above the midrange. While these speakers are usually more efficient than component sets, for the most part they don't have crossovers to give you the best sound possible.
I guess the bottom line recommendation from me is if you want to use your DEH-P7700MP to power the speakers, a nice set of co-axials will work great & the DEH-P700MP has built-in crossovers to help make the sound as best as possible. If you can get yourself an amplifier for the front speakers than a component set will definitely improve your sound.
Gopod luck!
