and what are the adavantages of a 3 way or even 4 way speaker

If you are running off deck power count the Ultimate T3's out. They are 3ohm and you may put to much load on the deck. If you are running a amp then you would be fine. Most 4 channel amps handle 2Ohm stereo so 3 Ohms no problem. Also the difference in sound between 3way and 4way. Some people say they can hear the difference and sometimes not. When you get into the high end brands between 2 and 3 way then it starts to become very noticible difference.. More of a sales tactic.

Those Clarion's are super nice. They are a single point source from there "In Phase" line.

I've heard those Clarions a few times and I'm impressed, they are a very nice sounding speaker for the money.
