6x9's

Hi there, i've got infinity 6010cs(components,6.5) in the front and pinoneer tsg950m 6x9's in the rear. All speakers are running off of a mtx 4244 thunder amp.
I would like to upgrade the 6x9's, any suggestions.
yes im new to the car audio world.

Totally depends on the $$$$ you want to spend. I like the Eclipse 6x9's personally, to me they sound good and side by side to the Pioneers, well the Pioneer's are just not in the same league.

Nakamichi SPC692's are sweet they are around the $200 range but well worth it. Rob would be able to give the best show down results on the Infinity vs Eclipse as he carry's both.

My ears still prefer the Eclipse.

which type of eclipse 6 x 9's do you recommend? 2 way, 3 way, 4 way??

im not running any subs at the moment but i will be running one ten in a sealed box in the near future for a nice crisp sound. but for now its the 6x9 's.

thanks for the info!! :smilie_da

The number of ways in a speaker do not necessarily make it any better. Eclipse has two 6x9's, a 4way and a pointsource. The pointsource being a component type speaker at 2/3 the price of a component. It offers a better sound yet again. The choice of speaker depends on your budget.
