6x9's question

This may be a really stupid question but i'm confused about it at the moment. If I wire two 6x9's (Pioneer TS-A6999) into my mono amp (Ultimate t31000) will I recieve stereo audio to the speakers? Or will it be mono channel only? This is while using the rear speaker RCA outputs from the deck. I can't figure out if the deck would somehow send the stereo input to the amp as a mono signal and the speaker would output stereo or if the whole thing would just be one channel from the source and I need to use my two channel (less powerful) amp.

if it's a mono amp, only getting a L or R ch from the HU, how is it going to take the mono signal and re-produce it in stereo...?

haha, i don't know. I said it was a stupid question.

But the amp has L and R inputs from the source outputs. The amp also has duplicated negative and duplicated positive outputs. Four outputs in total, why does it have these?

first off what kind of amp is it?
send of all, it has 2 pos and 2 neg terminals to aid in wiring, they are both the same piece of metal inside the amp... like if you wanted to wire 2 subs, having 4 wires total, it would be easier to wire them to their own terminal on the amp, opposed to twisting them together or whatever...

oh, now i understand what the "duplicated" means. It's an Ultimate t31000 amp. So wiring two 6x9's is probably not recommended?

I wouldn't, I know there are people on here that will disagree, but I would bet the thermal load on the 6x9's would be too much, you'd probably end up blowing them... and the L+R RCA input is most likely a pass though, so you can run the signal to another amp...

it's still a mono amp, no stereo...
