What type of music do you listen too? What is your budget? and do you want to retain the factory HU?

frostfired 09-01-2007 09:49 PM

listain to mostley rap and a bit of techno
and ya i wanna dont want to have to change to much of the car (make it easy to change back)

Will you will need a half decent LOC. But what is you total budget on this project including everything. Because LOC range from crap to excellent and you can imagine the price does to. From $19.95 to over $300. Easier with your budget to recommend.

my total budget for everything is prob no more then 500

what kind of subs and amp should i throw in
what wattage would you recomend
the car has a 115a alternator and a bose system
i don't really want to mess with the speakers just wanna add some bass
can you guys recomend any amps and subs that would be good for this?

500 $ wont get you too far if your buying new... unless you want to get a sony sub and amp

If I were you, I would save more money to get better equipment if you care about good sound. And secondly, you are driving a Benz for Pete sake. Do not embarrass yourself with low budget stuff. The two just don't go together. My two cents. :)

Equipment and install should not cost you more than 1000 bux for very decent equipment, as you can buy some real good used stuff.

$500 is not going to give you a highly predictable outcome I hate to say. It might give you some junk in the trunk instead of something that is balanced to the rest of the system. Rethink your budget some and wait if you must. Do it once and do it right.

i dont mind buying used if that means anything
