Question

What's the current value of these amps?
What's the quality like?
Do they actually put out the 2900rms @1ohm??

I've heard a few good things, but nothing solid.

I'm looking to buy one of these. Someone is selling it brand new for 1200 bucks.

Im looking for suggestions/comments on this particular, if we start comparing to other amps, I'm sure you guys can find better alternatives.

So lets keep it at Alphasonik PMA800HCA.

Here's a link to the website;

Let me know what you think.

those amps suck some juice but not worth 1200 if you gonna buy it for that...

Standard class A/B designs don't make much sense for subbass duty IMO....

that is unless you would like to BBQ off of your amplifier...

more than 2kw on a/b amp woow eek . that's some mad currentage sucking.

Is it really A/B? I can only find 800DA class D amp on the site but not HCA.

Yup, I have this baby in my car and it actually puts out 1600 rms @ 1 ohm. It's running one OPTI1532D @ 1 ohm
