i was told you can burn a cd and than insert it in the alpine deck, and do a update, i see this option in one of my menus, i have version 5, i was wondering if this was the latest, and were can i grab the updates?

the download feature is for i-Personalize. You can make all your settings and a personal greeting for the 9835. You download it to your desktop and then burn it to disc.

Your version is the latest for the CDA9835. No difference anyways.
