Alpine cda-7894. Any Good???

OK. I am thinking of buying a used alpine cda-7894 for 60$, to replace my alpine ida x001.

Which is better SQ wise? and is 60$ a good deal?

$60 seems like a damn good deal for a 7894. It was my first Alpine HU and I had nothing but praise for it. IIRC, they had 4 channel time correction, fast mp3 playback (for its its time), and other good features. The 7894 also has 3x 4v preouts which is much better than the IDA-X300.

BTW, how do you like your SAE-1000D?

I missed out on that alpine HU, but the amp is going pretty good.
