Alpine CDA-9811 run active?
just wondering if i can run active on my deck
i was just going through crutchfield and it said it has a 3 way crossover setting which i for some reason can't believe lol....mostly cause i havent found it yet i checked another site as well and it says the same thing does anyone know anything about this? thanks! |
Perhaps its referring to the high/mid/low crossover settings. I have the Alpine 9835, (I think that's the model #) and can adjust the cross over for the front, rear and subwoofer preouts.
Could this be the same thing you're looking into? |
you know what man....i'm afraid you're right LOL
it just hit me in the head i got 3 different settings 160-120-80 hz argh!! oh well time to upgrade |
On mine I can set a different cross over for the front speakers, rear speakers and sub. Sub is at 80Hz, with a "2" slope, rears are at 64Hz with a "3" slope, and the fronts are at 80Hz with "2" slope as well. I can also have 6 presets saved on the deck at one time. Also have a 5 band eq, for which I can save 6 different ones. Plus the normal factory EQ's already in the unit.
I love this head-unit. |
cool...the 9835 is definetly my fav modern deck.....im thinking of upgrading now to a 9813 almost the same options are yours...minus the dot matrix screen
