Alpine or Clarion

okay so i was just wondering on which subs you guys would choose over i currently have 2 10" alpine type s's in sealed box and 2 10" clarions in custom ported box i plan on keep one and selling the other and how much you think i could get for them thanks.

the clarions are WAY better subs than type-S's and probably a knotch better than the type_r's for that matter

okay i thought so but i think the box there in is **** the guy i bought them off made his own box could that make a huge effect on the sound??

A box has more to do with soudn than the subwoofer itself..so yeah could make a massive difference.

depends what vehicle they are going into and what you want out of them.. want low end gut rumbling bass.. want really loud 1 note wonder bass.. want them to play flat and responsive?

there going into a 99 cavilier so its a pretty big trunk space if its needed and for the sound i pretty much just want to to pound as hard as it can lol big bass
