My lovely wife bought me the KCE-400bt adaptor for Christmas. After much searching, I found the Adaptor cable at Kennedy HiFi in Markham. 49.00 for a cable with a 35.00 MSRP.

Anyway, got it all installed yesterday and it works beautiful!
When the phone rings, it interupts the music and it shows call display on the head unit. one touch to answer and it sounds pretty good. People i talk to say it sounds pretty clear on thier end.
The 9887 also shows recent calls, phone book, history etc.
Haven't tried a text message yet. But i like it so far!

I think you may find the KTX-100 eq add-on for fairly reasonable price, especially in boxing-day week, or just about anytime in January. Many have reported postiive impressions with imprint on 9887...enjoy
