ALPINE HU, QUESTION
#1
I have an ALPINE CDA 7875, Recently it has just stopped reading/playing cds, I have the opportunity to get it looked at, however I was browsing the forums and saw that people have had a similar problem, my question is do you guys know from experience if it is a common proble, i.e. is it worth it to get fixed? Also any ideas what it could be?

If it isn't under warranty it might be cheaper just heading to a local electronics repair shop and get an estimate. I had a nice Alpine deck that was older die on me and got it fixed for cheap at the local shop. I don't know what it would have cost to ship to Alpine but I'm guessing it would have been more plus shipping etc.

im having the same problem with one of last years model alpine player, i can't remind the product number, but whenever i get some CD's which i knew used to play in my car it just gives me ERROR or sits there and looks at me funny until i take the CD back... lol
so basically all i can do is get it on warranty and get a replacement?
