I have an ALPINE CDA 7875, Recently it has just stopped reading/playing cds, I have the opportunity to get it looked at, however I was browsing the forums and saw that people have had a similar problem, my question is do you guys know from experience if it is a common proble, i.e. is it worth it to get fixed? Also any ideas what it could be?

If you take it to an authourized dealer, they should be able to send it away and give you an estimate. IMO any Alpine is worth fixing, unless replacement is cheaper.

im having the same problem with one of last years model alpine player, i can't remind the product number, but whenever i get some CD's which i knew used to play in my car it just gives me ERROR or sits there and looks at me funny until i take the CD back... lol
so basically all i can do is get it on warranty and get a replacement?
