Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel amp - running it in 3 channel mode?

I bought a used Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel amp. I would like to use it to power a pair of coaxil speakers (my front stage) and also a single subwoofer.

The coaxils are 4 ohms each and will get 50wrms.

The subwoofer is a dual 4 ohm subwoofer.

If I bridge the subwoofer, the amplifier will see a 2 ohm load across a pair of it's terminals.

I do not see the 3 channel specs listed anywhere on Alpine's website or it's instruction manual telling me if it is safe or not to run one side of it's terminals at 2 ohm mono.

Can anyone verify?

Thanks

well.. not sure which amp you are talking about.. the MRV-F300 or MRP-F300
But no matter.. both have the same specs 50 watts into 4 ohms standard. 150 Watts bridged into 4 ohms... The web sites clearly say Bridged 4 Ohms: 150W x 2
Not sure why you are puzzled? Nowhere does it say it is 2ohm stable... so don't use it with your sub! Or if you do, use only one voice coil! What sub is it? How much power can it handle? This is why its important to consider all your needs before you start spending money!
