Alpine PDX 150.2 ??
 

Has anyone heard anything about this amp?

I'm considering getting this amp to power a set of CDT components, however it is a class D amp. I was under the assumption that class D is very efficient, but doesn't have the clarity of class a/b amps. I know class D is fine for subs, but would it sound good power a set of components?

There are reviews of the PDX amps all over the net, even one linked on the alpine site.

They get pretty good ratings.

Any links?

I don't doubt that they are good amps, I just want to know how a class D amp would be powering components...

I'd switch to pdxs from my xenons right away. it's the thing that's called family that is in the way. :D

another thing I think most would agree on, is the fact that these need good ventilation. can't cram them under/in a box/amprack.
