Alpine problem help ASAP
 

Alpine 7897.

-48 with windchill today. I command start my truck today. and get to it about 10 min later. I get in and notice that the deck is one. the screen says Alpine. and the CD inside is spinning. fans on. so is my amp. but I have no sound and none of the buttons work. didnt really worry about.

continued on to school(about a 10-15 min drive) and shut the truck off. but the deck wont shut off. still the same thing as when I left the house. all the lights are on. says alpine. disks spinning and amps on. but it wouldnt shut off. I ended up having to pull the fuse(the one that is on the decks harness. in side the little greay box). deck shuts off but doesnt go back in(fuse still removed tho). get out about 2 and half hourse later. start truck up. put fuse in and the deck wont turn on. the face is still out and none of the buttons work(cant turn it on or get it to go back in). drive to my collage and shut the truck off. turn it back on and I have nothing. so I pull it out and leave it inside to warm up.

go back to the truck 3 hours later. plug it in(just the harness. no RCA or ant.). still wont turn on.

so, the decks sittin inside my house now. faceplate is out but I cant do anything with it. HELP! anyone know what I can do?

Cold shouldn't hurt it. windchill doesn't count for a car. how cold is it really?

I spend a couple winters in the mountains with my old alpine, never hurt it a bit.

cant remember the actual temp. was cold tho. all my buddies had some issues with stereos today. well, all theres just didnt light up right away. theres didnt crap out. im really pissed right now. I need my damn music.

just wiring issue. snagged a new harness and tested the deck out inside and it works fine. that makes me feel soooo much better.
