alpine traffic data receiver

Hi everybody, I have a Iva-d106 head-unit and i want to buy the nve-n872a navigation.
And i want to know if the traffic data receiver work in quebec canada ? or if not do something replace it for the quebec.

But i know that garmin have this option. So i doesn't understand why alpine doesnt have this option
