Alpine Vs Audison Amps

I have to buy some new amps for my system. i love how the new alpine amps are so small and produce the same wattage at 2 or 4 ohms, but i know they get hot. I have never had a issue with any audsion amp i have used... but i have mixed feelings
Which brand would you choice between these to?

what is the application? Fronts? Subs? My system has both. Alpine PDX-1000 on my focal subs and a Audison LRX2.4 on my 3 way fronts. The only reason I have the PDX is for the size and power it punches. The Alpine PDX line is a great sounding amp. I chose the audison cause it was warmer for my tastes!

hope that helps!

one amp would be powering the fronts and rears, the other two amps would both each be powering a sub. one set high the other low

yup I could not be happier with JL Hd 600.4's, so small.. lots of power, and sound awesome. run cool too.. just jammed full volume for 2 hours the other night and I could still hold my hand on them after without any discomfort at all.. I have had many of amps before in my day believe me. Zapco, arc, rockford. These sound great!

To bad your not in ontario... I would love to give you a demo..

Those new JL amps look nice...

But on the subject, I would use Audison instead of Alpine, and at least an Lrx. One of the finer amps - really. In my top 5 favourite amp manufacturers as price/performance is concerned.

- Steg K Series
- Zapco C2K
- Arc Audio SE
- Audison Lrx/Vrx
- JL Audio Slash

Sorry, buddy, as you can see Alpine did not make it.
