hmmmm really ...... what about getting a alt off a say truck with a 350 or something from a wrecker or something..... would the alt put out more cuz its used with a bigger motor ? and would it be to hard to modify a bracket to fit a 4 banger? lol

I'd worry more about your RMS rating than your max power rating.

hornet_252 ran two 2400.1 Exiles in his car on his stock battery and alternator a few months, thats 4800 watts RMS. It eventually died, but it lived for awhile.

Best bet is just to get a stock one with a good output, and put a smaller wheel on it. That will allow it to spin faster. For now anyways. I wouldnt worry about getting something with a high output until you're running alot more power.

yea i guess... i was just kinda worried cuz this is my daily and even tho if i get this new system i wont have it up all the time but ill still listen to it a lot and right now with my other accessories in the car that volt gauge really bounces with the beat.
