Alternator upgrade

I have a 2000 VW Golf 2.0. Originally I have 90 amp alt, but had it recoiled a while ago to 120 amps. I have Kicker SX600.2 for fronts, and Arc Audio KAR 900.1 for two 12" subs. Do you guys think I need to beef up my electrical? I like to play it loud on rare occasion, and just want to make sure my amps are fed properly. If you feel, I need an upgrade, is there a place where I can get an alt for a direct swap without modifications here in Toronto? Or does anyone have a car like mine, and ordered some alts from Iraggi. Are those direct swap? Thanks in advance.

do you have the 120 amp alt in your car?
do you notice any problems while driving and the bass hitting hard.(hesation, lights dimming bad)?

if you have all the right wireing (power, gound) you should be ok.
but i would think about buying a good battery like a oddysee or some thing with at least 1200amps.

you should be ok with a 120 amp alt. or with a 90amp alt and a good battery.

i only have the stock alt with 2 good oddysee batterys and i have not had any problems. that might change when i get my new amp tho lol.

No hesitation, or light dimming, cause of caps. Big three is done. Yellow top is under the hood. Thanks for your reply. :)

No need... I have 90amp stock alternator, cheap 50$ battery.... Running JBL 1200.1(1x1200) and Eclipse 34230(2x320) and I have no light dim or any problem.... good installation is the key !

as long as you got good wiring then so should be all good...you dont need to upgrade unless you have a VERY SMALL alternator or are running an insane sytem.
