altinator finally dies

altinator finally dies

stock altinator for 4 cyl engine + subs and amp wired for 2ohm load = loud subs but one really toasted Wilson altinator.

CRAP!!!!!

Nice. I was going to suggest the common GM small case alternator. $100 at Lordco buys you 110amps of jam.

Ya but those altinators require more horse power to turn them properly and mine is much less (poor little 4 banger)
he upgraded mine from 45 to 80 ... can't squeeze any more into it.
By the way I found out that I am running stable at 1ohm WHOOOO HOOOOO

went and picked it up today. Buddy found a bigger stator and upgraded it for me to 100 amps for the same $100.00
