Americans

I posted a question about Re Sx sub on caraudioforum.com and basically got the whole why would you but Re, they arent worth the money since the $ went up etc etc. But shipping and tariffs bring prices up pretty quick with the subs they suggest. So basically my question is im looking for 1 sub, most likely a 15" in the $350-$450 price range. Is an Re Sx my best bet or should i be looking else where.

Thanks

Well yes the prices are a bit higher now but they are now on par with many other brands. SO for the price it is still a great choice. When there name was not as big they had a little less markup but now they have the marketing, support and R&D dept. much as a bigger company would.

I can't say too much since I haven't gotten my Fi.Bl 15 yet, but from what I have heard Fi car audio is suppost to be pretty good bang for the buck. Got my sub fully loaded (full cooling and flatwind coils) for 435 shipped. Not sure if the BL is a direct comparison to the sx line, but it is designed to be a solid daily driver sub with good sq and tons of output. Considering that Fi was started by one of the original designers of RE audio subs, can't hurt to look into.

i guess they are just pissy because they were all used to the lower price

Looks like they've touted the SSD as closest relative to the SX
