Amp Debate
I am going to change out my amps and wondered if any one had any recommendations (or lines on gooood deals:) )
I was thinking of going with a pair of DLS A3s for the comps and a pair of A6s for the subs but.... A) I don't know anything about DLS and their reputation for quality B) I don't know what other brands may be the same or better for the same or less $$$$ C) I have seen it argued here before that one cant hear the difference in power amps if you were to compare amps in the same league but how do I know what league a amp is in? Since its widely accepted that I wont hear the difference in amps, what amps do you recommend for quality and reliability? |
Tell us what your running.

Right now I'm running old PPI AM amps but sadly 14 years of service has taken a toll on their reliability
|
What speakers/subs are you running?
|
Front comps are MBQ QSDs right now but I'm still auditioning others for the upgrade (the AVI Iridiums were really nice?)and the subs are AVI 250sls
|
get Rockford Fosgate if you can if you have $ for, otherwise buy Ultimate amp. RF amps are good buys, I have ultimate amp and they are unexpensive from Smartass.bz, so far really satisfied with the power

I'll just get this out of the way...
FOCAL, and AUDISON... nuff said. :cheeky4: Mark |
