Amp Decision

I got a 15" L7 kicker sub n i just blew my amp now i am looking for a new amp that will be powerful and is a pretty long lasting amp

the 3 amps i am looking at are:

Kicker zx10001.1
Ultimate T3 1000D
Clarion DPX11500

i know the ultimate is way more powerfull then both the others but...i just blew an amp that was a Ultimate T3 500D so i was kinda of worried about buying another 1... if anyone has a good amp that they think would work good and is not to expensive please let me have some ideas thanks for reading

-Richard

alpine mrd1005 or primiere D3000spl. both are 1000 w rms at 2 ohm.
and the 15L7 is rated 1000 w rms, so, is it 4 ohm dvc? OR is it 2 ohm dvc and you wired in parallel? Is that why you blew the amp?

Are you thinking new or used? what sort of investment in the amp?

Yep. Some good choices there. An Alpine MRD-M1005 would be a perfect match I've personally ran that setup. As well the Ultimate 1000D would be good. I even threw roughly 2kwrms at one and it took it for 20 mins straight then melted. That was without a proper breakin, only had it installed for litterally one day haha. Yeah I was a lil rough on it and I paid the price!

I would take the kicker or the clarion over the ultimate amp any day...

why not check out a US Amps XT4000D.

Similar pricing points, good durability and boatloads of power.

Take a look at the Lanzar OPTI2000D. It puts out 1100rms into 2 ohms...
