Amp Info Needed
 

Can anyone give me some inout on the Massive Audio NX2 amp or the Bazooka CSA-4 XA-MC and the Pyle PLMRA 400. Powering 4 5.25 speakers. 2 Polk Audio MM 521 coaxial and 2 MTX 5.25 TDX 52

All amps are 2ohm stereo stable. The massive looks to be the better amp. Way more power, but maybe u don't need that much. On a bike though, more is better. Running those pairs of speakers your at about 1.6ohm which is still taking a small chance, but most amps don't mind being slightly overloaded.

I assume you've already bought the polks and are trying to salvage using them vs. buying different speaks?

I have 4 of the Polk MM 521 on my bike and my wifes has the others but I may go ahead and buy her a second set of the polks as they are a better speaker I have them in my car and they sound fantastic. Would it be better to have the 4 Polks as my bike does and wire the speakers in series? I agree the Massive looks better. Sorry but I am a rookie at this stuff

The massive would have enough power to run the 4 polks at 5.4ohms. They'd still be getting about 40-50rms a piece. The other amps advertise similar power into 4 channels, but I don't know if they're rated truthfully. I thought I saw one of them with a 10A fuse claiming 40rmsX4. Doesn't seem feasible.

So would you recommend wiring the speakers in series with the massive NX2

If youre gonna go that amplifier route, series would def work. It just sucks missing out on all that potential power. It should run really clean and draw less power from your bikes electrical system though.

What kind of power do you think it would give the speakers. Loud is great but loud and CLEAN is best. And thank you kindly for the help it is very much appreciated.

I would estimate power at 80-100rmsX2 @ 5.4ohms. Massive may have a more concrete # if u contacted them. It also depends on the voltage your bike produces while running. Wire them in series. You'll end up at about 5.4ohms.
