Amp Light Turning Red Then Not working
 

k ive just installed my old subs and smp in my new car. 600watt Sony Xplod.
for some reason when i give my car Gas it will stop working sub would cut out and the light will turn Red. it supposly Be green. but if i park the car turn the key back it works fine. any help?

What are you running for power and ground wire? Thickness?

look at your wires (you have a bad wire )
ps i hope that is it .it may be inside the amp too

same wire i used for my other caf 550watt. and 12gauge for the gorund. i think it need to be grounded better but why would it work while parked :s

i would do 4 g wire to start but 8 will work NOT 12
