i am looking around for reviews on the pdx 1.1000 all i find are positive reviews i am looking for some negative reviews to know any problems or any negative views any one has on this amp befor i buy it can any one help with the review??? i am wanting to put it with the 12 inch type X with the pdx 1.1000 any one thinks they gonna work good together, or no?

 

The amp is solid, efficient, will do rated power, and has a small footprint.

The negative on the amp is it's price.

 

yes they defently are a little pricey but im looking on ebay and i could get one for about 400-450$ what do you think about putting it with the 12' type X think they would work good together?

 

The alpine lineup is designed to work together, the pdx 1000.1 was meant to power the type X subs.

The pdxs get good reviews, but just like hardwrkr said, theyre pricy.

 

i think price justifies it's size.

Memphis MCD1000 will do the same (actually more) power and like the PDX is very efficient, has good components, and has a very small footprint. Priced quite a bit lower though. There's just one example of why to me the price just doesn't justify the amp.
