amp and sub combination

I have recently purchased a 900 watt rms sont amp and it blew up my cheap audiobahn sub. I have bought a jl 12w3v3-4 sub for a great price but am afraid I will blow it up too. Should I be worried or not?

dont absolutly pump your system and it wont blow, another thing you could do is turn down your gain control on the amp..

Amplifier model number would help out greatly

I wouldn't worry about it at all!!! Just make sure the gains are not cranked, and you will be just fine!!!!

When ur adjusting your amp gain, listen for when the sub starts distorting, then turn it back a notch.
