before you get all crazy for an amp... i suggest you understand what kind of electrical it takes to run 2krms daily.

i wouldn't do more than 2krms on the XXX as it doesn't take much power to get loud

Ok lets start over. I have a RE 12 XXX. Does anyone have the full specs? Amp suggestions with links? And is 1 of these subs gonna be loud or am I gonna go buy another? Like I said before, I'm new to car audio.

google truely is your friend.

subwoofer specs: Technical Specifications - RE AUDIO

an amplifier that would be a nice match for it: SAZ-1500D - Sundown Audio 1500W 1-Channel Monoblock Amplifier

you'll also need to run a bunch of 1/0awg wiring, and an extra batt in the trunk. you have lots of work cut out for you

I have wire, and a 3 farad cap, and I have 2 optima batteries. And it doesnt say RMS/peak on the specs. Would I be happy with one or should I go with 2? I have the oppurtunity to buy another in the box for 500 bucks.

The enclosure design and how it is position in the vehicle will dictate how loud the sub gets more so than power. Its mostly the box.

So with the right box I should be pretty happy with the sub?
