Amp to use with Kicker Comp Subs

Hey guys I am back, I had an old topic about my amp blowing up so I sent it back and shopping for a new one and need some advice.

My last amp was a 3000/1 watt Class D. And I am not sure if mabey that's to much I really don't understand matching amps to speakers lol sorry. If both my speakers run 800 rms that's a total of 1600 rms for both if I add a 3000 watt amp to this would it run 1500 watts to each sub. Like I said not sure how this thing works. So I am posting what I have and asking for advice on an amp. Thanks all

Here is What I got:

(2) Kicker 40CWR124 (CWR124)

Subwoofer Series: Comp-R / CWR (Kicker)

Subwoofer Size: 12"

Peak Power Handling: 1600 watts

RMS Power Handling: 800 watts

Voice Coil(s): Dual

Impedance (Per Voice Coil): 4 ohms

Frequency Response: 25 - 500 Hz

Sensitivity: 86.9 dB
