Well in all the excitement, I never even thought about the WARRANTY! Took it back to see what could be done and now I'm just waiting for the call back to say that it's all fixed.

Thanks for all your help guys...and now i have a nice new DMM for next time!

 

as a mechanic i know its easy to get caught up in the moment and totaly forget about the basics like that im glad to hear u got it all worked out though
