What is the best amp/bang for buck to run both @ 500W RMS?

Any advice much appreciated.

I'm assuming they are dual 4 ohm? (Looking for 1000w @ 1 ohm?)

You need to have a budget for the amp, otherwise you might end up with a real POS that one person claims to be the best thing in the world because it's all they could afford. Once you have a budget then good options can be chosen for you.

Money really isn't a big issue. They are dual 4 ohm and I was looking to have an output of either 1 or 2

Two subs dual 4 ohm you will need a 1 ohm amp. 1500w rms into 1 ohm runs around the $650.00 mark + tax and shipping.

go with the alpine mrp-m1000...perfect match

Bang for the buck, Exile makes a great amp as well.

If money is no object i'd use the Rockford Fosgate T1000.1bd.

Its not capable of 1 ohm loads. If the subs were Dual 2 it would work fine.

Unless he wants to power the subs with only 500w between the two of them then the alpine would work.

What about a Sundown SAZ-1000D?
