Amplifier question
Hello, well let me first say when it comes to car audio i know just a little bit. Now im going to make this as short as possible for everyone. I havee now decided to upgrade my speakers. I currently got a set of dotech ovation 6' in the front powered by a 2 channel arc audio kar series 200.2 amplifier. Now what i want to do is move those current speakers to the rear and get a pair of morel hybrids. Now due to the fact that i want to try and not get rid of both amps in my car (i also have an arc audio kar series 900.2 amplifier powering my kicker solobaric L7 10") due to the fact that they cost me alot of money and im trying to save as much money as i can with this upgrade as possible my question is whether i can use the 900.2 amplifier which is a 2 channel and somehow power both the front and rear speakers? is this possible if so would you suggest to do so or not? Any help is appreciated because i have no clue of what i an do, or if i should just now buy a 4 channel....

I couldn't find a 900.2 model on the webite.....the closest is the 900.1, is this the one you have?
If you can add a 400.2 to run the fronts or sell the 200.2 and get a 600.4 for the comp sets you would have a very nice system......
Either option gives you back fader control and also allows for different Xover and EQ setting for fronts and rears........

You can hook up both pairs of speakers to that amp....you will however lose the fader function.......

Yes the amp is a 900.1D, sorry about that i just checked in the car right now, ok thanks for the help. The only thing about getting a new amp is that itll cost me extra (i knwo im stating the obvious0 however i havent had any offers on my amp so i have sort of givin up thus leaving me with the idea that i can use the amp for the speakers at least although its a lot of watts been given to the speakers i figure if i could use it y not and later in the future i could get another amp? what you suggest i do?
Depending on how your install is setup you could probably find a non-matching amp for the rears and hide it somewhere if looks are an issue....

For now, I would use the 200.2 on your fronts and run the rears on deck power....if it was me I'd ditch the rear speakers completely but that's another thread......
