From what I've seen in the past you've had stellar products and I expect you'll continue in that manner for some time.
I hope to have the opportunity to work with you one day, however that not being today I wish you good luck with the new line.

Hey Dave - Audiolines just picked up Hertz loudspeakers from us.
If they see the value in that line, maybe you should have a look too.
You could have at least waited until next week for my visit with you guys !! Just kidding !!

i sell alpine, kenwood, sony, concept, panasonic, kicker, no offence but what makes you think i need another "me too" brand like hertz. i see hertz as just another flavor of the day brand that has created some hype but isnt all that special from the speakers that ive heard/installed and could easily be replaced by a dozen other lines some of which i already have. thanks anyway, see you next week. remember we will be in our new store on the 5th of december so if you come through town our new address is 1810 spall road, corner of harvey(hwy 97) and spall

let me ask you this, what do you think hertz has done that makes it unique in the world of car audio besides make stuff that is orange
you know what lines i carry, weve talked about it before. where do you think a line like hertz fits in and why do you think i would need it

The orange stuff, is only on the entry level products - and that is simply a marketing thing.
Obviously the orange doesn't make it sound any better, but it brings attention to the speakers on the board, because of the colour.
Lots of brands do it - Alpine with their blue, silver, etc colours. MB Quart with their reddish cones, Concept, etc, etc.
But thats not the heart of the line. The upper end products are all black cone - nothing flashy. And the orange is pretty much gone.
Hertz is very new in North America - and we have only seen the start of things to come. So unless you know what products they are developing in the future I can understand that you see things the way you do. However, we have seen what is coming.............and it aint no "me too" product.
They will be showing an amplifier line this year - which will be really hot. And there will be more than "one" sku ..........sorry, had to get my shot at AVI in there.......sorry, Charlie !!
The new MILLE speakers are killer !! They aren't cheap, but they sound great and our dealers in Vancouver will be getting their shipments soon....so keep an eye out for them !!
Maybe we'll bring you up a sample set !!
Its a very complete line already, with lots more on the way.
The line starts at $90 retail and goes up to $3500(theres something in the line for almost every customer - with one speaker brand).
Anyway..........we'll talk more when we see you.........but, until you see the entire program and product mix ........you should keep your opinions open......to at least looking at it !
