Nobody said that any product was going to revolutionize the world.......or that selling any brand was going to make the world a better place.

I think if you read my comments again with a nice voice and not an angry one - you may see that.

As for knowing my product.........your'e damn right I know my product.....I think the rep should know what it is he/she is selling....and not just show up with an end of the month with a specials list and try to sluff that off on a dealer so I can get an order.

Your rep should be an asset to you. A resource of information and support. Thats all I'm trying to be.

Sorry if I got defensive in your eyes. That was not the intent of replying to your comments or your request for us reptiles to give you they're 10 cents worth.

But - I think its important to know the facts (all of them) and not just what you may have heard from some dudes car with Hertz in it - or wherever it was you heard the product (even if it was from a previous rep).

I still think your a pretty cool dude.........and deserve the respect that you have in this industry. And its okay for us to agree to disagree. Thats what makes this deal fun sometimes !!

I'll still stop in and buy you a drink, or two, or three.........!! Whether you carry my gear or not......I still respect your opinions and enjoyed the little debate.

Good luck with your new brand, I'm sure it will be very successful........and cudos to the new rep for getting their gear in your shop !!

Dave could sell Pyle and it would be succesfull for his shop because every client gets a properly set up and layed out system. No cutting corners or other bull**** that clients want to use to save a buck. They will do it right or not at all. I am sure whatever line he brings in will be a great fit and successfull for both the shop and the manufacturer.

C'mon Dave...your square Pyle against my square, next summer. 6 pack of Beer for you or a 6pack of Iced Tea for me. [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Hell, last summer they even topped up a guys car with oil (5litres if I remember correctly) since it was rattling so bad and the dipstick was as dry as a mothballs fart. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Regaardless of the product your repping Grant, I am pleased to see a rep so obviously passionate about the product he represents. It is refreshing to see [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] . I know a few great reps and the common thing they share, the thing I think is THE most important, is their passion.

I do have to sell against it in my neck of the woods but I won't belittle those products or put them down. I'll just have to be even more passionate about the lines I carry and personally believe in and fit the right product to the right customer. I think thats the only way a client can truly trust his salesman. [img]graemlins/cf2.gif[/img]

Enjoy the line Dave, the support from Phil and Karz is unparalled and with both lines you are still able to make good profit on them due to how the lines are distributed. I may be a small shop by comparison but the line has worked it's way in here quite well.
