Any blade technologies buffs out there?
I've owned blade amps for years now and love my SE6100. I just picked up a few more to run a bigger 4-way system, and I'm trying to figure out how to configure all my amps.
Really the only information I need at the moment is -- how to bridge them (if they are bridgeable and what would be gained by it), and how much power to expect at 2-8ohms bridged or in standard mode.
I have a pair of 8ohm midbasses that I would like to see get 200w at 8ohms each. My original idea was to bridge 4 of the channels off the SE6100 and that should get 200w x 2 to the 8ohm speakers under normal bridging conditions, but something's funny about these blade amps and ohm loads so I just want to be sure I'm not spinning my wheels here.
I've also heard you have to "serial bridge" them. Sounds scary. I wouldn't want to attempt something like that without talking to someone who has done it before.
I have: SE6100, SE 4.2, SE250 (2 channel), and (2) G5 grenades. They are great amps, but I don't know how to use them to their potential. Can I get a little help here? It would be much appreciated. Thanks a million. Zac.
