Hey People!!



Turns out I will be competeing at the show this Sunday at International Stereo on 32nd ave....

I spoke with the guy in charge today and he has no probs with me running an 8 track system for the comp.

So...I'm curious....Any thoughts as to what I might hit?I'm thinking somewhere in the range of 135-140 or so.....but I might be high.....I might be low....

Your thoughts?

As far as I know this will be the first time in db Drag racing history that someone will be competing using such a system...I'm excited about this!!I will be documenting as much as I can towards my application with Guiness Book towards being certified as "the Worlds Loudest 8 Track Car Stereo"...who wants to be a witness??LOL

Anyway....hope to see you all there!!(from Calgary anyway)...Just look for the rusted out Sunbird...LOL....

How about an sq system with your 8 track tape player ????

 

Ya never know what "The Birdman" has up his sleeve...

Several ideas are underway already for next year...hopefully the funds will be in place by that time....

18"Stroker,maybe...in a Sunbird??LOL....Who knows...

Trust me the thought has crossed my mind....

Any thoughts on the SPL possibilities though?

If they use the same mics and setup as last weekend here in Edmonton. 140 is unlikely.

My car is a 150+ and I hit 141.7 with 2-15's, 1200 watts, 200ft2 of deadner, 6.25 ft3 tuned to 46hz and it was loud as hell.

Also team obsession only hit 138 and he usually does 148's.

Ya, maybe you guys will get to see my new wall. 12 10's and two 18's. lol, this is gonna be fun. maybe i'll break a 150 this time.

 

I look at it this way...

Even if I hit lets say....ohh.....135 or so...

How many people have successfully done such off an 8 Track?

If I can beat out one...just one person...I will be a very happy man.....MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I'm not going to win...I'm going to have some fun...meet some people....give people some good laughs....

If it happens I do hit some real serious levels...GREAT!!If not...well.....I'm sure if nothing else,I'll have video and written documenation towards my Guiness Book app...Thats the big goal right now.......
