Anyone here use Massive Audio amps or subs ?

Someone I know wants some feedback on their gear. I know nothing about it or even where to get it. Who would you compare them to !??!!?? Aren't they direct sales as well out of the USA ? If not, who's stocking there stuff? Anyone or is it a run over the border thing ??

had 2 12" CW awsome subs. running the blade amp right now. no subsonic filter on this one but it runs solid without overheating for over a year now... they have good products and might buy again for the small footprint amps..

i was running the 2 12" on a DD SS1 amp so 1000watts approx and they got loud. and sounds good doing it

no complaint so far. there was a distributor here in canada but they let that go a few years back. so from the only place i know is theyre own website to order. or call them and ask where u can get it in canada.. if they do offer here let us know where

Massive has decent stuff, only thing is most of their amps are over rated big time even though they claim they are CEA-rated.

I don't know so much about the mono's, I am refering to their multi-channels... Usually they will do half what is rated. So when they rate 100watts rms... it's really 50...

Rate it at 100 but only puts out 50......... WTF ?!?!??! Ha, ha, ha. That's too damn funny. If anything, they should be making it do the reverse........... rate it at 50 and make it do 100. Then let the peoples and magazines the truth..........

Yeah, he hasn't been able to find anywhere local to buy it in Toronto. All the shops I use to know have bellied up. And everywhere he's checked, most stock nothing for what he's looking for................. so he may just run to the USA. But he wants Massive................ and I don't know why.

I am more of a "rate it accuretly" type isntead of this over\under rating.
I want to know what I am buying.

You say only one model, but there has only been one model scrutinized. When looking at the line up, it is clear that it is the entire model's line up that has incorrect ratings. I mean it's quite obvious since even after your own admission that the ratings were wrong, the web sites false ratings remain... and that one model is the top dog, if you were to post it's correct ratings, it would then be rated the same as the smaller model besides it... it then becomes obvious that this smaller model is obviously over rated as well.. and so on.

Looking at the current Nx4 model, I have to believe that the same over rated ratings are used, the foot print is ridiculously small for the claimed output.

We can also go back in the past at other models such as the p900.5 with a recommended 80amps of fusing yet the amp is rated at 500+200 x 4 RMS (1300 rms).

Things don't add up for missive's multi channel amp ratings.

Having said all that, I do think that they are very attractive designs and believe that they performe well... I would have no problem running their equipment, especially those small nano amps such as the nx4 and nx5. I love small amps. My only point is that they are inaccurately advertised and people think they are getting more then they are.

I only wish the published ratings were right, I would be all over the NX5
