Arc Audio Kar 1000.2t amp
i'm thinking using this amp since my hifonics bxi1206 recently died
the subs im running are a pair of re audio se 15" in a ported box also the subs are dual 4 ohm...does anyone know wether the amp would be stable at 1 ohm? or am i stuck running it at 4 ohms (450w each) thanks |

the .2 does that mean its a 2 channel? if so i'm sure its 2 ohm stable stereo and could handle each channel @ 2 homs

This amp will be happiest at 4 ohms and you'll be much better off running at 4 ohms sound quality wise. |

I love it when manufacturers keep their old model information available. Under the introduction (page 2) is says, and I'm paraphrasing, that the amp does have 1 ohm capability in stereo mode. Then according to the specs, it'll do 500W x 2 @ 1 ohm Like Sasha said, you might have a better sound running bridged into 4 ohms, as opposed to stereo into 1 ohm. |
Yes, and his subs wont do 1 ohm in stereo. So with his set-up 4 ohms bridged, and it will be very nice.
