Audi A7 System Upgrade
 

Sup guys. I just bought an Audi A7 with the Bang & Olufsen audio package. With my little car audio knowledge, it seemed pretty dope. All the speakers are fully enclosed and it has these badasss tweeters that lift out of the dash when turned on. There are 13 speakers with a total of 1300 watts. Also has a sub enclosure in the wheel well. Pretty high end features but, it is not nearly as tight, loud, and clear as I would have expected. Any experience with this system and what I could do to make it banging? I need this thing to rock with loud clear high and miss with some thumping bass.

Pick up a good line out converter (dammit the name escapes me right now but there is an excellent Audi specific one..) some suitable amplifiers, and replace the sub. Leave the deck and the front speakers. Should run you about $2500

A high-end system like that should have a equalizer in it. Have you tried adjusting your treble, bass, and mid-ranges? My wife has a BOSE 10 speaker system in her vehicle, and I used to frown every time I turned on her stereo. I was at the point of installing an aftermarket amplifier, until I found out how to adjust her high, lows and mid-ranges. Sounds much better now. Not the quality of a good amplifier, but acceptable.
