well i dont need anything earth shattering, i just want something that will put some good thump into it, and something you can hear from a bit away

I like the idea of the type-x.It takes a small sealed box and you could run the amp at 2ohm and give a gob of power to run a great low hitting woofer.

yea, also the type-x is a pretty musical sub as well, so it would be good for SQ
