Hi everyone...

Do any of you know if there are any AudioControl dealers left? It seemed like there were quite a few in the old days but now no one carries the stuff.

I have a 2k BMW 328i and I need to interface to the OEM HU and changer, and the outputs are balanced differential. It looks like the balanced inputs on a 2XS will work, so I have one coming via EBay but I have a buddy on another forum who may need one too. He is in the Toronto area. Or else a EQL or equiv. - don't know his processors yet. The only other option seems to be speaker level...ah, no.

Anyway, thanks in advance and great forum guys - didn't know there were still some SQ guys still around!

Are you often in the owen sound area?

I believe Tom's Car Radio in your area is an AudioControl dealer...

Thanks for the responses guys. Tom's is still around? I never dealt with them because of my previous "connection" with Sound Satisfaction - Ralph sold me stuff pretty cheap. I'll have to look into that. Also that Owen Sound dealer - hmmm, may have to make a side trip to Sauble. :)

Actually it is this fella in Toronto that will need a processor if my setup ends up working out, so for him Toronto area would be best. Maybe second hand will be the better way for him.

On a side note, has anyone out there dealt with this type of HU output before? Things seem to be coming together OK, but this differential output was interesting to reverse engineer. Thank God for the internet and its resources though - I can't even think how we used to do this stuff back in the late 80s!! Just a big Scosche reference book at around $500 bucks.
